Right of withdrawal
In accordance with the Consumer Code, the consumer has a period of 14 days from receipt of the product to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to justify their decision.
To exercise this right, the Client must inform by mataz of their decision at the address contact@bymataz.com before the expiry of the period.
Return conditions
Products must be returned complete, in their original condition and in a state allowing them to be resold. Direct return costs related to exercising the right of withdrawal are at the Client's expense.
Return address: by mataz – 51 avenue des Jockeys – 92380 Garches – France. Returns to relay points are not accepted.
Refund
In the event of a valid withdrawal, by mataz will refund the amounts due in accordance with legal provisions, including the initial delivery costs up to the standard delivery method offered. Any additional costs resulting from the choice of a more expensive delivery method than the standard one are not refunded.
The refund will take place no later than 14 days from the date on which by mataz is informed of the decision to withdraw. The refund may, however, be deferred until the product is recovered or until proof of its shipment is received, the date retained being that of the first of these events.
Personalized products
In accordance with Article L221-28 of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to products made according to the Client's specifications or clearly personalized, except in the event of a defect or non-conformity.
Damaged or non-conforming product
In the event of a damaged, missing or non-conforming product, the Client is invited to contact by mataz as soon as possible at contact@bymataz.com, ideally with photographs allowing the problem to be identified. Legal guarantees remain applicable independently of the right of withdrawal.
Handcrafted production
As by mataz fans are handcrafted, slight variations in shade, pattern, texture or finish may exist from one piece to another. These particularities inherent to artisanal production do not, in themselves, constitute a lack of conformity.
