THE BEGINNING
My story
Since childhood, the scents of travel and the warmth of the sun have shaped my story, woven between two archipelagos: the Caribbean and the Balearic Islands.
Two sunlit worlds filled with light, energy, culture and beauty. Warm air, fabrics dancing in the breeze, glittering seas and colourful markets make every day a feast for the senses.
These places shaped my eye and sparked my love of adventure, discovery and everyday objects that tell a story, like fans.

by mataz fans are conceived and designed in France, then handcrafted in Spain, honouring generations of traditional skill and care.
